Bedroom Transformations with COAT Paint

When COAT Paints reached out to me to collaborate on one of my projects, I couldn't wait to get my hands on their super practical 'Peel and Stick' samples. I knew I wanted a neutral colour but I was looking for a warm and moody tone, as it was important for me to create a cosy atmosphere in both bedrooms I was designing for.

Sample Stage

I chose 3 neutrals to sample at home: Mindful, Sunday Soul and Good Intentions.

Being able to stick them and peel them off made it so easy for me to move them around to see them in different lights. In the end I made the decision to go for the darkest taupe called 'Sunday Soul'. Check out the photos below to see how the space turned out!

Moodboards

I wanted to create a calming sanctuary in both bedrooms so I chose earthy tones using deep orange as a base and then elements of black in one room and pops of green in the other to set them apart from each other and give them their own feel. I played with textures such as ribbed glass, wood, boucle and linen to add softness and depth to both neutral spaces.

Finished Result

Sunday Soul was the most gorgeous colour and really sets the right mood for a cosy, relaxing space made to unwind. I'd always suggest leaving the coving and skirting boards white as it really makes the colour pop.

You can see the results for yourself in the 'AFTER' photos below!!
